In June 2006 we felt it was time to write a football song. The objective was simple: write an original, cheeky and addictive punk rock football song.

With the task in hand, the song was written, rehearsed and recorded in four days flat. As well as the five main members of the band, various non-musical friends were drafted in - later to be called the "Oi Oi's" - to add some inspired backing vocals!!!

...and so Thrupenny Bits was born, a tongue and cheek song about the fun and frolics enjoyed by football supporters leading up to the big game. Always intended as a bit of a giggle, we hope the song will put a smile on the face of football fans and music lovers alike.

If you like drinking on a Friday night whilst surrounded by loud mates and top class totty, and watching blue movies followed by football on a Saturday, then sing along.
